Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the MedDeutsch iOS app, published by Vishwen Labs (OPC) Private Limited. Installing or using the app means you accept them. Our company-wide terms are at /legal/terms.

Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own use. You may not resell it, redistribute its content, or extract its question material for another product.

No affiliation with any authority

MedDeutsch is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by any government department, immigration authority, examining board, regulator, or certification body whose material it prepares you for. Any names or marks referred to belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe what the app covers.

No guarantee of a result

We build every question bank from the official published material and maintain it as that material changes. Even so, we cannot promise the app is complete, current, or free of error, and we cannot promise you will pass. Always check the official source before relying on anything for a decision that matters.

Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account, under Apple's terms — not ours. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can manage or cancel it in iOS Settings.

Refunds are issued by Apple, not by us, so refund requests go through Apple's process. Our position on refunds is at /legal/refunds, and we will always help you chase one that is deserved.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. We may suspend an account that is being used to abuse the service or to redistribute its content.

AI-generated content

Some features send what you submit to a third-party AI provider and return a generated result. That output can be wrong or incomplete, so treat it as a starting point rather than an authority — and never as legal, medical, financial, or immigration advice. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share.

Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to break, probe, or overload the app or our servers.
  • Do not reverse engineer it except where the law expressly allows.
  • Do not scrape or bulk-export its content.
  • Do not use it to break the law or anyone else's rights.

Liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or opportunity, or for an exam result. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including for death, personal injury, or fraud. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at what you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending these terms

You can end them any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access if you breach them materially. Provisions that are meant to survive — licence limits, liability, and governing law — do.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction. If you use the app as a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove rights your local law gives you.
