This policy explains what Vishwen Labs (OPC) Private Limited (“Vishwen Labs”, “we”) does with personal data across this website, our iOS apps and our product websites. We have written it to be read, not to be survived.

The short version

• We do not sell personal data, and we never have.
• Most of our apps work without an account. Where there is no account, your study progress stays on your device.
• We collect the minimum needed to run a purchase, answer a support email, and understand which pages work.
• You can ask us to delete your data by writing to support@vishwenlabs.com.

What we collect, and why

When you use an app

Apps that do not require an account keep your answers, progress and settings on your device. We do not receive them.

Where an app offers an account or a subscription, we store the email address you sign in with and a record of your entitlement, so the purchase follows you to a new device.

When you buy something

Purchases made inside an iOS app are handled by Apple. Apple processes the payment and shares a purchase record with us; we never see your card details.

Purchases made on our websites are handled by our payment processor, which receives your payment details directly. We receive the fact of the purchase, the amount, and the email address you used.

When you contact us

The contact form sends your name, email address and message to support@vishwenlabs.com. We keep support correspondence so we can follow up and because tax rules require us to retain records of transactions.

When you browse this site

We use privacy-preserving analytics to count page views and understand which pages are useful. We do not use these to build a profile of you or to target advertising at you across other sites.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: contract — to deliver a purchase and provide the product you paid for; legitimate interests — to answer support, keep the service secure, and measure whether pages work; and legal obligation — to keep financial records. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share data with

Only the service providers that make the product work: Apple, our payment processor, our email delivery provider, our hosting and database providers, and our analytics provider. Each receives only what it needs. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

International transfers

We operate from India and our providers operate in the EU, the UK and the United States. Where personal data of EU or UK residents is transferred, our providers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

How long we keep it

• Support correspondence — up to three years after the matter is closed.
• Purchase and tax records — as long as Indian tax law requires, currently eight financial years.
• Account data — until you ask us to delete the account.
• Analytics — in aggregate, indefinitely; it does not identify you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and ask for it in a portable format. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act you may also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

Write to support@vishwenlabs.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.

Children

Our products are not directed at children under 13, with the exception of our times-tables app, which is designed for children, collects no personal data, and contains no advertising or third-party analytics.

Changes

If we change this policy materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects you directly, tell you in the app or by email.
