1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Vishwesh Pratap Singh, an individual developer trading as Vishwen Labs (“we”, “us”), covering the AAIA Exam Prep — AI Audit iOS application and everything in it (the “App”). By downloading or using the App you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

These Terms serve as the end-user licence agreement required by the App Store. They are entered into between you and us alone — Apple is not a party. See section 11 for the terms Apple requires us to include.

2. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. This licence is for your own exam preparation.

You may not copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense, publish or share the App's study content — lessons, questions, explanations, flashcards or mock exams — in any form. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the content bundle, except where that restriction is prohibited by law. You may not use the content to build or train a competing product, including as training data for a machine-learning model.

3. Independence and trademarks

AAIA Exam Prep — AI Audit is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by ISACA or any other certification body, examining board or regulator.

ISACA® and AAIA™ are trademarks of ISACA. We use those names only descriptively, to identify the examination the App prepares you for, as permitted by nominative fair use. All study content in the App is original work authored by us from ISACA's publicly available exam content outline. We do not reproduce, and have never had access to, ISACA's own question bank or review materials.

4. No guarantee of a result

Exam preparation is an aid, not an outcome. We do not promise, and you should not infer, that using the App will cause you to pass the AAIA examination or any other assessment.

In particular, the readiness score and estimated scaled scores are our own estimates, calculated by the App's own formula from your activity within the App. They are not produced, reviewed or recognised by ISACA, they do not predict your official result, and ISACA scales real examination scores using psychometric methods we have no access to. Treat them as a study signal only.

Certification requirements, exam format, eligibility rules and fees are set by ISACA and may change without notice to us. Always confirm current requirements with ISACA directly.

5. Content accuracy

We author the content carefully and review it, but we cannot promise it is complete, current or free of error, and the field it covers — AI governance, risk and audit — moves quickly. Nothing in the App is legal, regulatory, professional or compliance advice, and it must not be relied on as such.

If you find a question you believe is wrong, please tell us. Settings → Report a question, or the report control on any review screen, opens an email to us with the question identifier attached. Corrections ship in App updates.

6. Free tier and Premium

The App is free to download and includes a substantial free tier: the Foundations lessons, the first lesson of each exam domain, a starter set of practice questions spread across the whole blueprint, a set of flashcards in every deck, and a preview of the first mock exam. No payment is required to use it, and the free tier is not time-limited.

Premium unlocks the complete lesson set including the cram sheets, the full question bank with an explanation on every option, all three full-length mock exams, every flashcard, and the per-domain readiness analytics.

7. Subscriptions and billing

Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through your Apple Account. Current plans, prices and any introductory free-trial period are shown on the purchase screen inside the App, in your local currency, before you confirm. Prices vary by country and may change; any change is disclosed to you before it takes effect.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
• Free trial. Where a free trial is offered and you are eligible for it, any unused portion is forfeited if you buy a subscription before the trial ends. Eligibility is determined by Apple, per Apple Account, and the App shows trial wording only when Apple confirms you qualify.
• Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel at any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or via the Manage subscription row in the App's Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves your access in place until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Lifetime or one-time purchases, where offered, do not renew and are not subscriptions.

Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy, not by us — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue, approve or reverse an App Store charge. If a purchase does not unlock, use Settings → Restore purchases first; if that does not resolve it, contact us and we will help.

8. Acceptable use

Use the App lawfully and for your own preparation. Do not attempt to circumvent the purchase mechanism or access paid content without paying for it, interfere with the App's operation, or use it in a way that infringes anyone's rights. Do not use the App to cheat in, or attempt to compromise the integrity of, any live examination.

9. Your data

Your study data stays on your device and there is no account. What that means in detail is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Because your progress is stored locally and not backed up by us, deleting the App deletes your study history permanently and we cannot restore it. Your Premium entitlement is tied to your Apple Account rather than the device, so it survives reinstalling — use Settings → Restore purchases.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost study time, lost data, or examination fees or outcomes. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim — which for a free-tier user is nil.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer you may have statutory rights that these Terms do not affect.

11. Apple-specific terms

Apple requires the following, and these provisions apply to the extent you obtained the App from the App Store:

• These Terms are between you and us only, not with Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the App and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App.
• If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, any claim that the App fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
• Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending, settling or discharging any third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting”, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you.

12. Termination

You may end this agreement at any time by deleting the App. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these Terms, in particular by redistributing the study content. Sections covering independence and trademarks, content accuracy, liability and governing law survive termination.

13. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign them, together with the App, to a successor — including to a company we later form to publish the App. Your rights under these Terms are unaffected by such a transfer, and where the publisher of record changes we will update this page and the App Store listing accordingly.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the App changes. The effective date above will change, and material changes will be noted in the App's release notes. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts at Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction. If you use the App as a consumer elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence.
