Need help, found a bug, or think a question is wrong?
Email is our only support channel, and a person reads every message. We usually reply within two business days.
Email support@vishwenlabs.comIt helps enormously if you include your iOS version, the app version and build from Settings → About & legal, and what you expected versus what happened. A screenshot is worth several paragraphs.
Getting started
What does the free version include?
More than a token. Free gives you the complete Foundations track, the first lesson of every exam domain, a starter set of practice questions spread across the whole blueprint, a set of flashcards in every deck, and a 30-question preview of the first mock exam.
Premium adds every remaining lesson including the cram sheets, the full question bank with an explanation on every option, all three full-length timed mock exams, every flashcard, and the per-domain readiness analytics.
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
Neither. There is no sign-up, and every lesson, question and flashcard ships inside the app — you can study on a plane. A connection is only needed to buy or restore a subscription.
What is the readiness score actually telling me?
It is our own estimate of how prepared you are, weighted across the three exam domains exactly as the real exam weights them (33%, 46% and 21%). Each domain combines your recent accuracy, how much of that domain's question pool you have actually seen, and how many of its lessons you have read. Tap How is this calculated? on the Progress tab for the formula.
It is a study signal, not a prediction. ISACA scales real scores psychometrically and we have no access to that — a high readiness score is encouraging, not a guarantee.
Subscription
I bought Premium but content is still locked
Open Settings → Restore purchases. This re-checks your Apple Account and is the fix in almost every case, particularly after reinstalling or moving to a new iPhone. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with — purchases belong to the account, not the device.
If it still does not unlock, email us with the approximate date of purchase and we will work it out.
How do I cancel, or see what I am paying?
Open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or tap Manage subscription in the app's Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Subscriptions first.
How do refunds work?
All payments go through Apple, so refunds are Apple's to grant — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no ability to issue or reverse an App Store charge. If something is wrong with the app, tell us anyway; we would rather fix it.
Was I charged for the free trial?
The app shows trial wording only when Apple confirms your Apple Account is still eligible. If you have used a trial for this app before you will see normal pricing instead — that is deliberate, so nobody is promised a trial and then billed. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
Your data
Where is my progress kept, and how do I delete it?
On your iPhone, and only there. There is no account and no cloud sync, which is why the app works completely offline. The trade-off is real and worth knowing: deleting the app deletes your study history permanently, and we cannot restore it because we never had a copy. Your Premium purchase is unaffected — it lives with your Apple Account and comes back with Restore purchases.
To start over without deleting the app, use Settings → Reset study progress. It erases answers, streaks, bookmarks, sessions and flashcard schedules, and keeps your appearance, exam date, daily goal, reminder and purchase. It cannot be undone.
Does the app collect analytics?
This version transmits none — no usage events, no crash reports, no advertising identifier. The only network traffic the app makes is purchase validation. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
My daily reminder isn't arriving
Check iOS Settings → Notifications → AAIA Exam Prep and confirm Allow Notifications is on. If the app's reminder row reads Needs permission, tap it and use Open iOS Settings.
The app never asks for notification permission during onboarding — you will only ever see the prompt when you deliberately set a reminder in Settings → Study reminder. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device; there is no push server, so they work in airplane mode.
Studying
Why do mock scores look different from readiness?
They measure different things. A mock gives an estimated scaled score for one sitting; readiness moves slowly across everything you have done. The free preview of Mock 1 is scored out of the questions you were actually shown, not out of the full exam.
Why does the daily drill repeat questions?
Once you have seen every question your plan can reach, the drill starts revisiting — which is useful, but the app says so rather than pretending they are new. On the free tier this happens sooner because the starter pool is smaller; Premium opens the full bank.
Is this the official ISACA app? Are these real exam questions?
No, and no. This is an independent study aid with no affiliation to ISACA. Every question is original work written by us from ISACA's publicly available exam content outline — we have never had access to ISACA's own item bank, and reproducing live exam content would be both unlawful and useless to you.
I think an answer is wrong, or I found a mistake
Please report it. Use the report control on any review screen, or Settings → Report a question. The email is pre-filled with the question's identifier, which is what lets us find it immediately. We check every content report against the exam content outline and the underlying source, corrections ship in the next app update, and we will write back and tell you what we found either way.
The exam changes. Does the app?
Yes. The content is written against ISACA's published exam content outline and we revise it when ISACA changes that outline. Updates arrive through the App Store at no extra cost. Settings → About & legal shows the app version and build you are running, which is what to quote if you report a content problem.
Requests and feedback
Feature requests are welcome at the same address. We read everything, and small quality-of-life requests from candidates who are actually sitting the exam tend to get built quickly.
