Terms of Use

AIGP Prep

Effective 6 August 2026 · Applies to the AIGP Prep iOS application

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form an agreement between you and Vishwesh Pratap Singh (“we”, “us”, or the “Developer”), the developer and operator of AIGP Prep (the “App”). By downloading or using the App you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Your use of the App must also comply with Apple's Media Services Terms. Where these Terms are silent, the minimum terms of Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement apply.

2. What the App is — and is not

AIGP Prep is an independent, offline-first study aid for the AIGP (Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional) certification exam. It provides lessons, practice questions, spaced-repetition flashcards, framework reference sheets and timed mock exams, written to the publicly published exam Body of Knowledge.

Independence. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). AIGP® is a registered trademark of the IAPP. All content in the App is original study material. It contains no actual exam questions, and no one involved in writing it has had access to the live exam.

No guarantee of a result. Exam outcomes depend on many things outside our control. We do not promise that using the App will result in passing any exam or obtaining any certification. Scores the App reports are estimates on its own scale, produced by its own scoring model — they are not IAPP scores and involve no IAPP equating.

Not professional advice. The App summarises laws, standards and frameworks — the EU AI Act, the NIST AI RMF, the ISO standards and others — for exam preparation only. It is educational information, it will age as those instruments change, and it is not legal, compliance or professional advice. Do not rely on it to make a real governance decision.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for your own study. You may not copy (beyond what this licence permits), redistribute, sell, rent, publicly display, scrape or create derivative works from the App or its content, and you may not reverse engineer the App except to the extent applicable law expressly allows.

4. Free and Pro

A substantial part of the App is free and requires no purchase. The free tier currently includes the daily question, the complete exam guide, the first lesson of every competency, a blueprint-spread starter set of practice questions, the placement diagnostic, adaptive Quick 10 practice, the searchable glossary with spaced-repetition flashcards, two framework sheets, and an unlimited 25-question mock preview.

AIGP Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that adds every lesson across all four domains, the full question bank with per-option explanations, the Missed, Weakest and Custom practice modes, longer flashcard sessions, full-length timed mock exams with score history, and the complete framework reference library.

The exact split between free and Pro is described in the App at the point of purchase and may change in future versions as content is added or reorganised. We will not reduce what an active subscription gives you during a period you have already paid for.

5. Subscriptions and billing

AIGP Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, currently in two forms:

  • Weekly — renews every week; includes a free trial for new subscribers where offered;
  • Yearly — renews every year.

Prices are shown in the App in your local currency before you confirm, and vary by storefront. The following Apple billing rules apply:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID on confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial where one applies.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is switched off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or via Manage Subscription in the App's Settings. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; you keep access until then.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription, where applicable.
  • After reinstalling or changing device, use Restore Purchases — on the paywall or in the App's Settings — signed in with the same Apple ID.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com, signed in with the Apple ID used for the purchase. We have no ability to issue an App Store refund directly, though you are welcome to write to us if something went wrong and we will help where we can.

We may change subscription pricing or the composition of Pro prospectively. Apple notifies you of price changes and, where required, asks for your consent before a change applies to an existing subscription.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App — including attempting to bypass the paywall or entitlement checks, extracting or republishing the question bank, lessons or glossary, using the content to build a competing product or dataset, or using the App in breach of any applicable law.

7. Changes to the App

We may update, add, modify or remove features and content — for example to follow revisions to the exam Body of Knowledge — and we may discontinue the App. Studying works entirely offline, but purchasing, restoring and validating a subscription need a network connection and the availability of Apple's and RevenueCat's services.

8. Intellectual property

The App and everything in it — lessons, questions, explanations, flashcards, framework sheets, design and code — is owned by us or licensed to us, and protected by copyright and other laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Third-party names and trademarks, including AIGP® and IAPP, belong to their owners and are used only to describe the exam the App helps you prepare for.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use them without obligation to you.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, nor for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from or relating to your use of the App. To the same extent, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time; deleting it removes its data from your device. We may suspend or terminate the licence if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 2, 8, 9, 10 and 13 survive termination. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as provided by Apple's policies or applicable law.

12. Apple-specific terms

These Terms are between you and us only — not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App and is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to it, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and intellectual-property claims. Should the App fail to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in an embargoed country and are not on any restricted-parties list.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your local law and may bring proceedings in your local courts where that law allows.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms. Material changes are posted on this page with an updated effective date, and continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
