Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Vishwesh, the developer and operator of AIGP Prep (the “App”, and the “Developer”, “we” or “us”). By downloading or using the App you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Your use of the App must also comply with Apple’s Media Services Terms. Where these Terms are silent, the minimum terms of Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement apply.

2. What the App is — and is not

AIGP Prep is an independent, offline-first study aid for preparing for the AIGP (Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional) certification exam. It provides lessons, practice questions, flashcards, and mock exams aligned to the publicly described exam Body of Knowledge.

3. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own study. You may not copy (except as this license permits), redistribute, sell, rent, publicly display, scrape, or create derivative works from the App or its content, and you may not reverse engineer the App except to the extent applicable law expressly permits.

4. AIGP Pro subscriptions

Part of the App is free. Full access requires an auto-renewing subscription (“AIGP Pro”), currently offered as:

• AIGP Pro Weekly — renews every week; includes a 3-day free trial for new subscribers;
• AIGP Pro Yearly — renews every year.

Prices are shown in the App before purchase in your local currency and may vary by region. The following Apple billing rules apply:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of the free trial, if one applies).
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device Settings (Apple ID → Subscriptions) at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period already charged.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
• If you reinstall the App or change devices, use Restore Purchases (on the paywall or in Settings inside the App) with the same Apple ID.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no ability to issue App Store refunds directly.

We may change subscription pricing or what is included in Pro prospectively; Apple will notify you and, where required, seek your consent before a price change applies to an existing subscription.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App — including attempting to bypass the paywall or entitlement checks, extracting or republishing the question bank or lessons, using the content to build a competing product, or using the App in violation of any applicable law.

6. Changes to the App

We may update, add, modify, or remove features and content (for example to track changes in the exam Body of Knowledge), and may discontinue the App. The App works offline, but purchasing, restoring, and validating subscriptions require a network connection and the availability of Apple’s and our subscription provider’s services.

7. Intellectual property

The App and all content in it (lessons, questions, explanations, flashcards, design, and code) are owned by the Developer or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and other laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Third-party names and trademarks (including AIGP® and IAPP) belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the exam the App helps you prepare for.

If you send feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the App. To the same extent, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time; deleting the App removes its data from your device. We may suspend or terminate the license if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 2, 7, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as provided by Apple’s policies or applicable law.

11. Apple-specific terms

These Terms are between you and the Developer only — not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App (including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and intellectual-property claims). In case of the App’s failure to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in an embargoed country and are not on any restricted-parties list.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts at the Developer’s place of residence in India have exclusive jurisdiction — except where the law of your country of residence grants you mandatory consumer protections and venue, which remain unaffected.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date; continued use of the App after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
