More than a token. Free gives you the daily question, the complete exam guide, the first lesson of every competency, a starter set of practice questions spread across the whole blueprint, the 12-question placement diagnostic, adaptive Quick 10 practice, the searchable glossary with spaced-repetition flashcards, two framework sheets, and an unlimited 25-question mock preview.

Pro adds every lesson across all four domains, the full question bank with an explanation on every option, the Missed, Weakest and Custom practice modes, longer flashcard sessions, full-length timed mock exams with score history, and the complete framework reference library.

Neither. There is no sign-up, and every lesson, question and flashcard ships inside the app — you can study on a plane. A connection is only needed to buy or restore a subscription.

An estimate on the app's own 100–500 scale, weighted by the exam blueprint and by how recently you answered. It widens or narrows a confidence band depending on how much you have answered in each domain, and it says so when the estimate is still thin. It is not an IAPP score and involves no IAPP equating — treat it as a study signal, not a prediction.

Open any locked item, or tap Get AIGP Pro in Settings, and choose Weekly (with a free trial for new subscribers where offered) or Yearly. Prices show in your local currency before you confirm. Payment runs through your Apple ID — we never see your payment details.

Sign in with the same Apple ID you bought with, then tap Restore Purchases — on the paywall, or in Settings → Subscription. Pro access returns immediately; no account or password is involved.

Study progress is a separate matter: it lives only on the device, so a new phone starts fresh unless you restored it from a device backup.

1. Open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or tap Manage Subscription in the app's Settings.
2. Select AIGP Prep and tap Cancel.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current period ends to avoid the next charge. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. When Pro is active, the app shows your next renewal date in Settings → Subscription.

App Store purchases are refunded by Apple, not by developers. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com, signed in with the Apple ID used for the purchase. Apple decides under its own policy. We cannot issue one directly, but do write to us if something went wrong — we will help where we can.

Entirely on your device. There is no account, no cloud sync, no analytics and no ads — your study history never leaves the phone. To erase it, use Settings → Data → Reset all progress, or delete the app.

The only thing processed off-device is subscription validation, through Apple and RevenueCat. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what that involves.

Check that notifications are allowed for AIGP Prep in iOS Settings → Notifications, and that the reminder is switched on at the right time in the app's Settings → Daily reminder. If iOS permission was revoked, the app switches its own reminder off next time you open Settings — turn it back on after re-allowing notifications. Focus modes and Scheduled Summary can also hold banners back.

No, on both counts. AIGP Prep is an independent study aid — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the IAPP, and AIGP® is a registered trademark of the IAPP. Every question is original material written to the exam's publicly published Body of Knowledge (v2.1, February 2026). The app contains no actual exam content, and no study aid can guarantee a pass.

Yes. The content is aligned to a specific Body of Knowledge version, shown in Settings → About → Content, and we revise it when the IAPP publishes changes. Updates arrive through the App Store at no extra cost while your subscription is active.
