1. Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your use of the ASWB Exam Prep iOS application (the “App”), published by Vishwen Labs (OPC) Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), CIN U62011UP2026OPC250741. By downloading or using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Independence from ASWB

The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by or associated with the Association of Social Work Boards (“ASWB”), with any state or provincial social work licensing board, or with any other examining or credentialing body.

ASWB is a trademark of its respective owner. We use the name only to describe the examinations the App helps you prepare for. All study material in the App is original work written by us against ASWB’s publicly published content outlines. The App does not reproduce ASWB’s examination questions and contains no live exam content.

3. No guarantee of results

The App is a study aid. It is not a substitute for your professional education, your supervised practice, or your own judgement.

We make no representation or warranty that using the App will cause you to pass any examination, that its content covers everything a given examination will test, or that its questions resemble the questions you will be asked. Examination content, format, weighting and passing standards are set by ASWB and may change without notice to us.

Any readiness band, score or estimate shown in the App is our own informational signal based on your activity within the App. It is not a prediction of your result, is not an ASWB score, and is endorsed by no examining body. Nothing in the App constitutes legal, clinical, medical or professional advice, or supervision.

4. Your licence to use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for your own study.

You agree not to: copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, licence or publicly display the App’s lessons, questions, rationales or other content; use the App to build a competing product or to train a machine-learning model; reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the App’s content database; remove or obscure any proprietary notice; share your access with others; or use the App unlawfully.

5. Intellectual property

All lessons, questions, answer rationales, explanatory material, design, text, graphics and software in the App are owned by Vishwen Labs (OPC) Private Limited or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any of it to you.

6. Free and paid content

Part of the App is available at no cost and needs no subscription — currently the diagnostic and the whole of Chapter 1, including all of its lessons and every one of their questions. The remaining chapters, the full question bank, the mock examinations and the remaining practice modes require an active subscription.

We may change what the free tier includes for new users. We will not remove access to content you have already paid for during a paid term.

7. Subscriptions, billing and auto-renewal

The App offers auto-renewable subscriptions, sold and administered by Apple through the App Store:

• Yearly subscription — charged once per year
• Weekly subscription — charged once per week, beginning with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers

The current price in your local currency is always shown on the subscription screen in the App before you confirm. Prices vary by territory and may change; Apple will ask you to consent to a price increase before it takes effect.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Manage the subscription and turn off auto-renew in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

Free trial. If you take the 3-day free trial it converts automatically into a paid weekly subscription when it ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it expires. Cancel before then and you are not charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription during the trial. Trials are limited to eligible new subscribers and may be offered once per Apple Account.

8. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are at Apple’s discretion under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. We cannot issue a refund directly, because we never receive your payment. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Consumer law in your country may give you additional cancellation or refund rights, and nothing here limits them. Write to us anyway if something has gone wrong — we will help you make the request.

9. Restoring a purchase

Your subscription is tied to your Apple Account, not to an account with us. On a new device, or after reinstalling, use Restore purchases on the subscription screen or in Settings. No email address or sign-in is required. Restoring works only for the Apple Account that made the original purchase. Your study progress is separate: it lives on the device and does not transfer, because the App has no account and never uploads it.

10. Availability and changes

The App is designed to work offline once installed. We may update its content — correcting an error, or revising material after a change to the published exam outline — and may add, change or remove features. We may discontinue the App; if we do so while you hold a paid subscription, you may seek a pro-rata refund from Apple.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

We work hard to keep the material accurate and aligned to the current published outline, but we do not warrant that it is free of error or omission, or complete and current at any given moment.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vishwen Labs (OPC) Private Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, examination fees, employment or professional opportunity, arising out of or connected with your use of the App — including any examination outcome.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Apple

These Terms are between you and Vishwen Labs (OPC) Private Limited only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

14. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it and cancelling any subscription through Apple. We may suspend or terminate your licence if you materially breach these Terms — for example by redistributing the App’s content. Sections 4, 5, 11, 12, 13 and 15 survive termination.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, India will have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your own country’s law, and may bring proceedings in your local courts where that law allows.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and continued use of the App after a change means you accept the revised Terms. If a change is material we will make it clear in the App before it takes effect.
