The one you have applied to sit. The app covers all five — Associate, Bachelors, Masters, Advanced Generalist and Clinical — and you can switch at any time in Settings without buying anything again.

Associate and Bachelors share a single content outline and a single question bank; they differ only in the passing standard, which ASWB sets. If you are choosing between the two, pick the one your licensing board named.

The full 20-question diagnostic, and the whole of Chapter 1 · Ethical Principles and Responsibilities — all 8 lessons in full, about 14,500 words of teaching, and all 192 of its questions with a complete rationale on every option.

That is a finished chapter rather than a sampler, and it is deliberately the highest-weighted chapter on every one of the five exams. A subscription adds the other nine chapters, the rest of the 1,500-question bank, the 12 full-length mock exams, and the remaining practice modes.

Neither. There is no sign-up, no email and no password. Every lesson and every question ships inside the app, so it works on a plane or in a test-centre car park. A connection is only needed to buy or restore a subscription, and occasionally to pick up a content correction.

Ten chapters, matching the ten competencies in ASWB's published outline, grouped under the three content areas with each area's blueprint weight shown against it. Inside a chapter, one lesson corresponds to one applied knowledge statement — 124 lessons in total, of which your category sees the ones on your own outline.

Each lesson is 1,000 to 2,800 words of teaching, written from zero, ending in a worked example that walks through one vignette with the reasoning exposed. Then its own question pool.

No. Reading position is stored per section, not per lesson, and it survives closing the app, restarting your phone, changing text size and rotating the device. Reopen the lesson and you are back where you stopped.

It is a band — Too early to say, Early signal, Building, Well placed — weighted by the blueprint, with the basis stated underneath in figures you can check. When the sample is too thin to say anything useful, it says so rather than inventing a number.

It is our own study signal and nothing more. ASWB does not publish its passing standard, so no app can honestly predict your result, and this one does not try.

Because the real exam does both, and ASWB says so. Elimination works differently between the two, so there is a dedicated three-option drill to practise that rhythm.

122 questions, of which 110 are scored and 12 are unscored pretest items you cannot pick out during the exam — disclosed afterwards in the review. Two sections of 61, two hours each, with the section lock enforced, a scheduled 10-minute break with the clock stopped, and unscheduled breaks with the clock running. Flag, skip, change answers, highlight text and strike through options all work as they do in the test centre.

Yes, per category, and the number is countable rather than a claim — the app tells you which one you are on. Every mock draws from questions the previous ones did not use, so mock 12 is as clean as mock 1. Abandoning a mock still spends the questions it showed you.

Yearly, or weekly with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Prices show in your local currency on the subscription screen before you confirm anything. Either plan includes every category, so switching exams later costs nothing.

Most people preparing over two to four months find the yearly plan works out cheaper than the weekly one — the app shows both effective rates side by side so you can see that for yourself rather than take our word for it.

Tap Restore purchases in Settings, or on the subscription screen. No email or password is needed: the subscription is attached to the Apple Account that bought it, so sign in to that account and restore.

Your study progress is a different matter — it lives on the device and does not transfer, because the app has no account and never uploads it.

Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device and turn off auto-renew. Deleting the app does not cancel anything.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you are not charged. Cancel later in a paid period and you keep access until that period runs out.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — we never receive your payment and cannot issue one directly. Request at reportaproblem.apple.com. Write to us anyway if something went wrong; we will help you make the case.

Please tell us. Every lesson and question is original work written against ASWB's published content outline, and we would rather hear about an error than have it sit there. Send the chapter and topic name, what the app said, and why you disagree. Corrections ship as a content update without waiting for an App Store release.

No. It is an independent study aid, not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with the Association of Social Work Boards. All content is our own, written against the outlines ASWB publishes. The app contains no real exam questions.

Settings names the edition the installed content matches. We re-check the published Guidebook each quarter and ship an updated bundle when it changes.

Nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and the app requests no iOS permissions at all. Your answers, progress and mock results are written to your own device and never sent to us. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Delete the app. Everything goes with it, because there is no copy anywhere else — which also means it cannot be recovered afterwards, by you or by us.

Yes. The app supports VoiceOver throughout, scales with Dynamic Type, honours Reduce Motion, and works in both light and dark appearance. It runs on iPhone and iPad, including Split View and Slide Over, and reflows live as you resize the window.

If something is unreadable or unreachable at your settings, please tell us — that is a bug we want to fix, and reports like these are the most useful ones we get.
