Camera & Pose Detection

Jump Rope Counter uses your device's camera and AI-powered pose detection to count your jumps. Here's how we protect your privacy:

• 100% On-Device Processing: All video frames and pose detection happen locally on your iPhone. No images or video are ever transmitted.
• No Recording: We do not record, save, or store any camera footage.
• Temporary Processing: Camera frames are analyzed in real-time and immediately discarded after jump detection.
• No Cloud AI: Our pose detection runs entirely on your device using MediaPipe technology.

Workout Data Storage

Your workout history and fitness statistics are stored locally on your device:

• Local Database: All workout data is saved in a SQLite database on your device.
• No Cloud Backup: We do not upload your workout data to any cloud server.
• Your Control: Your data stays on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Apple HealthKit Integration

If you choose to enable it, Jump Rope Counter can sync workout calories with Apple Health:

• Optional: Health integration is entirely optional and requires your explicit permission.
• Read Access: We read active energy data to track your overall fitness.
• Write Access: We write workout calories burned during jump rope sessions.
• Apple's Privacy: All health data is protected by Apple's strict HealthKit privacy policies.

You can revoke access at any time in Settings > Health > Data Access.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to improve the app:

Data Retention

Your data is retained according to the following guidelines:

• Workout Data: Stored locally until you delete the app or clear app data.
• Settings & Preferences: Stored locally until you delete the app.
• Analytics Data: Retained by Firebase according to their data retention policies (typically 14 months).

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Access: All your workout data is visible within the app.
• Delete: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
• Health Data: Manage Apple Health permissions in your device settings.
• Analytics Opt-Out: You can limit ad tracking in your iOS settings.

Children's Privacy

Jump Rope Counter is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy within the app. Your continued use of the app after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
